Greenlight is now source-available under BUSL-1.1: a self-hosted HTTP gateway that gives AI agents a human-in-the-loop line to chat platforms like Telegram, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Google Chat, WhatsApp, and Messenger.

Why a human in the loop

Autonomous agents are increasingly capable of taking real actions — deploying code, sending money, modifying infrastructure. Greenlight adds a lightweight approval step: register a channel, send a prompt with options or free text, and get a signed callback when a human responds in chat.

What ships today

  • A plain HTTP API — no plugin required for n8n, Zapier, Make, or custom agents.
  • Per-channel credentials, registered via API rather than global environment variables.
  • Self-hosted with Docker and Postgres, so credentials and traffic stay on your infrastructure.

What is next

Cloud and Enterprise editions are planned on top of the same self-host-first core. See the licensing page for details on BUSL-1.1 and what it means for you.
